Law Enforcement and Safety Reporting
Indian Matchmaking Service (IMMS), available at imms.app, is operated by SUJAVI SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS LTD, company number 13136601.
Registered office: 1 Beauchamp Court, 10 Victors Way, Barnet, Hertfordshire, England, EN5 5TZ.
This page explains how to report serious safety concerns and how law-enforcement agencies can contact IMMS. It applies to concerns connected with our matchmaking platform and IMMS events.
Immediate danger
If you or someone else is in immediate danger in the United Kingdom, call 999. To report a non-emergency crime, contact the police on 101 or through their official online reporting service.
Outside the United Kingdom, contact the appropriate local emergency service or law-enforcement agency.
Do not wait for an IMMS email response before seeking emergency assistance.
Report a safety concern to IMMS
Email admin@imms.app with the subject Safety Report. If the concern involves an immediate safety risk, include Urgent Safety Concern in the subject.
You do not need an IMMS account to make a report.
We accept reports concerning:
- Suspected human trafficking, sexual exploitation, coercion or forced marriage.
- Child sexual abuse material, grooming or suspected exploitation of a child.
- Impersonation, stolen photographs or profiles created without the person’s consent.
- Non-consensual intimate images or threats to share them.
- Fraud, extortion, threats, harassment or other suspected illegal activity.
- Serious safety concerns involving an IMMS event.
Please provide, where available:
- The profile ID, username, profile link or event details.
- A description of what happened and relevant dates.
- Whether anyone may be at immediate risk.
- Your contact details, if you are comfortable providing them.
- A police incident or crime reference number, if already reported.
Do not download, copy, forward or attach suspected child sexual abuse material. Instead, tell us where the material appeared and provide the relevant account or content identifiers. Do not send identity documents or other sensitive material unless we arrange an appropriate secure method.
Who handles reports
Reports are handled by Suresh Loganathan, the person responsible for safety escalation and law-enforcement liaison at IMMS.
The inbox is checked regularly, including weekends. It is not a continuously monitored emergency service, and we cannot guarantee an immediate response.
How we respond
We assess reports according to the seriousness of the concern and the potential risk of harm.
Where appropriate, we can hide a profile or photograph, restrict access, suspend an account or take action concerning event participation while a concern is assessed.
We review relevant information available to us and keep a restricted record of the report, our assessment and the action taken. A report does not, by itself, establish that an allegation is true.
Where we identify reasonable grounds to suspect trafficking, child sexual exploitation or another serious offence, we promptly refer the concern to the appropriate law-enforcement or safeguarding authority. We do not wait for a police request before escalating a serious safety concern. Immediate threats are escalated to emergency services.
We handle relevant records securely and seek appropriate guidance on preserving or transferring suspected illegal material. We do not circulate such material through ordinary email.
Requests from law-enforcement agencies
Law-enforcement officers should contact admin@imms.app using the subject Law Enforcement Request.
Please provide:
- Your name, role, agency and official contact details.
- The case or incident reference.
- The relevant account identifiers and dates or time period.
- The information requested and its purpose.
- The applicable legal authority and supporting documentation, where relevant.
- Any urgent risk, required response date or legally applicable restriction on notifying the account holder.
We independently verify the requesting agency and officer before disclosing personal information. An official-looking email address alone is not sufficient verification.
For an emergency request, explain the nature of the threat and why the requested information is needed urgently. This email address does not replace emergency-service channels.
Preservation requests
Verified law-enforcement agencies may request preservation of specified existing records by emailing admin@imms.app.
Requests should identify the relevant accounts, record types, time period, legal basis and requested preservation period.
We assess requests under applicable law and confirm what action can be taken. A preservation request does not itself authorize disclosure, and we cannot recover records that are no longer available.
Privacy and disclosure
We assess requests and proactive disclosures under applicable data-protection law. We disclose personal information only where there is an appropriate lawful basis and the disclosure is necessary and proportionate, or legally required.
We limit disclosures to relevant information, use an appropriate secure transfer method and record the recipient, purpose and information disclosed.
We consider any additional legal requirements applying to sensitive information and allegations of criminal conduct.
We may be unable to share investigation details with a reporter or account holder where doing so would compromise safety, another person’s privacy or a lawful investigation.
